It happened so that AndinaLink Show in Cartagena, Colombia (LATAM) became an watershed event. March just had been entering our lives together with COVID 19 pandemic and lockdowns approaching. Business is still in "old normal" environment, no "new normal" approaches appeared yet.

So Telebreeze team successfully visited one of the preferred place for negotiations and networking of the ICT&telecoms industry in Latin America. Meeting our current and future partners in person and listening to the audience gave us very special understanding of trends and sense of relevance to the market.

We are happy to have filled the bank of our contacts in LATAM before the isolation began. As well as we are happy to satisfy our passion for interesting projects which is the main driver of our work. It became possible due to friendly, brightfull and professional atmosphere of Andina Show.

As GSMA Intelligence reports in some LATAM countries smartphones penetration will outpace the region's average smartphone and grow as high as 88% by 2025. Simultaneously data traffic (with video content share of 73%) will grow about sixfold by 2025. All this makes it obvious that appropriate software programming allowing to make business on video entertainment services is of special demand.

Plus according to Digital TV Research recession will cut 5 million LatAm pay TV subs but SVOD subscriptions will double by 2025. Most of this subs will go looking for OTT opportunities and cable operators will have to launch professional OTT platforms to keep the subscriber base safe and satisfied.

LATAM is geographically and politically complicated region, with its own market requirements for each country, user experience preferences, varying ARPU and CDN costs.
